Consciously Ignorant highlights mankind's carefree attitude to the impact rubbish pollution is having on our environment. The artwork includes five wildlife interpretations based on the rainbow trout, crested penguin, NZ fur seal, crayfish and bottlenose dolphin. Each interpretation incorporated a drainage fixture to remind people that many drains lead to lakes, rivers and our precious ocean. It integrates these selected techniques as a mixed media piece on Paylite; mulched plastic.
